Well it's been a bit warm of late mid to high 30's which is warm for us (feel sorry for the Victorians and SA people who are suffering in the 40+ heat) we are melting here and last night there were electrical storms in the surrounding hills and have started a few fires in the National Parks so they are out fighting them and we are very hazy and can smell the smoke, so went and took a few photo's from the verandah but they don't really show the haze..... not to mention there is also a bit of a breeze which will be fanning the fires......
Merry Christmas from all of us ...

Oh Vicki, I haven't been for a visit to your blog in so long. Sorry about that! Looks very smoky there, where do you live again? Stanthorpe comes to mind...am I even close? Yeh I feel so sorry for all the Vic's & Sth Australians sweltering in this heat wave. We are being bucketed down on by the low off the coast of Cairns.
Thanks for visiting mine, everytime you visit during the month of Feb you go into the draw for the RAK. Bye for now Luv Shaz xoxo
We are surrounded by smoke down our way too. The coastal breeze usually blows it away, but the wind actually dropped for a few hours tonight. Hope the weather cools soon and the temps return to something close to normal.
