Magnolia challenge # 9

the challenge this week was spots and dots so done this one last night.... It's near mothers day so put that on the card.. very simple card but I think it looks good.....

a one off ATC card the winner of this challenge gets to keep all the atc that got made over the atc....mine is a papertole chicken with added feathers and dimentional magic a bit of glitz.....

kylie's challenge was to make a box or something to put chocolate in so I made a pillow box with my new 123d cutting system... its a pretty cool tool...


this is stars chocolate challenge we had to use the choc colours for this LO....

and Lisa's challenge was traditions and couldn't really think of any until it was my birthday on Thursday and if I wanted cake I would of had to make it so it didn't worry me to miss out ...... but for Sammy it was a different story "it's not your birthday till you had cake!", so finally got around to buying one on Sat. but by the time we got to put the candles on it for sam the kids had half eaten it........... oh well at least it made sam happy.....

Magnolia challenge # 8

This weeks challenge was cupcakes so I actually made 2 cards again.....

I used bg pp, and magnolia cupcake and tilda... coloured her in with rain daubers, distress ink for the skirt the second card is tag shaped and I used dcwv pp to make this card.....

Amanda's challenge was to used 3 letters from your first name and use colours from that so I have violet, ivory and cyan.......... jess doing homework on the weekend....

The blind challenge I set this is the original design I made for the challenge.....

gayatri's challenge we had to mix a few different paper ranges from kaiser and only use kaiser embellishments.... so I have used scraps I had of everblooming, cocco, blushed and base pp is sorbet....

I got some new stamps off ebay so been playing with them I got ragdolls and country scene ones...Treesa's challenge from deb's to do a LO using kraft card, with max 3 embellishments, felt and stitching..... a photo of my nan and pop, Bernie and Heather...

I have used bg pp, coredination cs and buttons, ink and gel pen...




ATC swap at uproar.... a favourite quote had to be used.....

I used rain daubers to do the cardstock, frame is with a glaze pen, magnolia stamp and see d's little bug stamps.... the quote was on a little plaque thing jess got for xmas...

Magnolia challenge # 7

MDUC #7 was SEPIA so I really love doing vintage, heritage Layouts so really loved this challenge might even make another card if time permits...

I have used lots of distress ink of different shades and inked and stamped and tilda's hair and tag was coloured with walnut distress ink and daubers for the rest...

Magnolia challenge # 6

Magnolia challenge #6 to make a baby card......... I have got the baby tilda and edwin on order from Bizzy Becs so will get them next month, but I just got this adorable Tilda so used this one with dcwv baby pp behind and stamped a few baby prams and some flowers.....

Hope every one is having a safe and Happy Easter, I'm having a quiet one looks as if lots are camping as caravans and campers galore yesterday while shopping.....

RSS cybercrop

Rss had the cybercrop on the weekend and had to tonight 9 pm to upload so just scrapped my last challenge in this arvo.... the theme was shopping mall.

this was the kids boutique challenge where we had to choose a childs piece of clothing and get inspiration from it so I choose one of sams shirts and took the colours from it being a nice shade of blue and large white writing up the side with a little bit of red.... Mo jo music challenge had to use a song title and a music related embellishment so snapped an old cd in half and also used pp with guitars and music sheet pp that I printed on the computer. the song title was back in black....
toy challenge for this we had to choose a favourite toy to scrap and also include stamping and use the toy to get the colours from....

the sew challenge for this we had to raid the sewing stuff, so I found a tape measure, some aida, and button, lace, pins also had to include 2 pics,

Pet palace challenge had to do an OTP item suitable for a pet..

so got the cats bickie container and decorated it with some old scrap stash...

scrap challenge we had to hand draw, used colouring pens, some handcutting, and only use 3 products.... so I used pp, stamping and pearls...

floral challenge had to use at least 9 flowers and include a clustered corner

Kamera Kiosk challenge had to use the same photo 3 times, more than 3 lines of journalling, 2 buttons, distressing, glitter

for this challenge had to have either boots or handbag in it....

Magnolia challenge #5

This weeks challenge at MDU was easter, I have actually made 2 and can't decide which one to enter so will add both so everyone can have a look.......

On this one I used a die cut card with hearts in the corner, I used K&Co berry sweet pp and thought the pattern looked like little easter eggs, then I cut out a big egg from a creative memories template thing..... which I borrowed at a crop last night....... then added a sizzix flourish and kindy glitz to it......

I got the cricut out to cut the basket and eggs in this one and the papertole rabbit came from a mini book of papertole and the pp was from there too, it has little yellow chickens on it..... then Tilda is 3d as I didn't like the colouring of the one underneath so redone and stuck on top......
Had great fun with this challenge thanks girls ........... (okay I just decided you can use this one as the entry thanks ladies.....)
and I am expecting some mail and new magnolia stamps this week can't wait.........
